There are a few ways I make pizza on the grill. This option is with the crust you can buy from your local grocery store in the bread section. It comes with the two crusts and sauce for about $4.00.
There isn’t too much to this; just selecting and adding your ingredients. Left over chicken, steak, ham, any veggies, and all kinds of cheese can be used. Throw them all on and place the pizza on the BBQ for about 10 minutes. Depending on your BBQ sometimes they should be placed on the top rack and on a lower heat.
My wife loves marinated mushrooms so I slow cook mushrooms first with butter, steak spice and parsley. You could also do that with bacon, onions and so on. Yum!
These pizzas we made were each a little different but here are some of the toppings we had in the fridge.
- Cheddar Cheese
- Goat Cheese
- Green Onions
- Garlic Olives
- Sun Dried Tomatoes
These pizzas are one way of clearing out your fridge near the end of the week or weekend. They are also great when you just don’t know what to cook or want something fun and easy. They can also act as an appetizer or snack through the day.
