Kyle’s World of Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Everyone loves grilled cheese and we all know how to cook it in the pan. Admittedly I had never actually tried barbequing one before. Naturally, I went ahead and made three different sandwiches for myself. One was good old mozzarella and cheddar cheese. I had some left over cooked bacon from breakfast so the second had cheese and bacon. The third, and probably the best, was made of a medley of ingredients I had lying around: avocado, tomato, turkey and cheese.

Ingredients
  • Butter
  • Bread
  • Cheese
  • Avocado

  • Turkey/Ham
  • Cooked bacon
  • Tomato

Directions

I buttered the outside portion of the sandwich and then slapped in all of the ingredients. I then placed the sandwiches on the top rack of the barbeque and let the bottom side become a nice golden brown before flipping. You may choose to put the sandwiches directly on the grill, but don’t go too far because they will burn quickly. Make sure the bread is nice and golden, oh and that the cheese is nicely melted.

Each weekend my wife, baby and I climb into my Chevy Colorado... aka the white sheep… aka the cottage vehicle and drive up to the cottage in hopes to make it up before the sunset or in time for a quick ski or for dinner. We are really hoping to fit in all three!
