Recently, my parents headed over to the 34th Annual Antique and Classic Boat Show at the Wharf in Gravenhurst on a Saturday in July. My mom was on the ball, she took some pictures for me to post for our viewers pleasure. There was plenty of boats and great weather to make for an awesome day. They had a full day to discover Gravenhurst, the Antique Boat Show and eat some great food. The feature boat was the Wa Chee We, a 1923, 35’ Ditchburn boat owned by John Unsworth. This boat has an interesting story. The previous owner sank the boat intentionally for the purpose of preserving it. Years later, the boat was recovered from a depth of over 100 feet of water and restored. Read more about this boat at.

Each weekend my wife, baby and I climb into my Chevy Colorado... aka the white sheep… aka the cottage vehicle and drive up to the cottage in hopes to make it up before the sunset or in time for a quick ski or for dinner. We are really hoping to fit in all three! But, if we don't get it all in Friday night, we still have the rest of the weekend to do that plus… play games, BBQ's, see friends and family, campfires, swimming, skating, tobogganing, beers, pranks, boating, cliff jumping, rope swings, water falls, river rides, fire works, relax and so much more! I love the cottage and everything that goes with it.
